This guide will walk you through the entire process of signing up, by following these steps, you'll ensure a smooth and secure registration process, enabling you to access all the features Digital Gold has to offer.

1. Download and Install the Digital Gold Wallet:

• Visit the Digital Gold Download page.
• Choose the version compatible with your operating system:
  • Windows: Click on "Download for Windows."
  • MacOS: Click on "Download for MacOS."
  • Linux: Click on "Download for Linux."

2. Generate a DGD receiving Address:

• Launch the installed Digital Gold Wallet.
• Navigate to the "Receive" section within the wallet interface.
• Click on "Create new receiving address" to create your unique DGD (Digital Gold) address.
• Copy this address using the button at the bottom; you'll need it during the sign-up process.

3. Access the Participation Form:

• Go to the Digital Gold Signup page.
  

4. Complete the Participation Form:

• Participation Option: If you prefer to participate without validating, check the box labeled "Check this box if you want to participate but not validate and want an account."

This means you just want to register an account on the network with your DGD address that has some DGD coins, and you don't want to validate future levels by depositing funds.

• Select Cryptocurrency: Choose your preferred payment method: USDC (ERC-20) or USDT (ERC-20).

• Specify Contribution Amount: Select the amount you intend to send. The current maximum is 1913 USDC/USD T because contributions are matched 1:1 for the first 10,000 members.
  

In this example we chose to validate 227 levels by sending 24.15 USDC.

• Enter Your DGD Address: Paste the DGD address you generated earlier into the "Your DGD Address" field.

• Create Account Credentials:

• Enter a unique username in the "Your Username" field. Click "Check if username exists" to ensure it's available.
• Set a secure password in the "Your Password" field and confirm it in the "Confirm Password" field.
• Important: Memorize Your Credentials, write it down and store it in a secure and secret location inaccessible to others. There’s no password recovery in the world of cryptocurrencies; and we don't store any data for privacy reasons. In case you forgot your password in the future, don't worry, you'll still receive your DGD coins according to how much you deposited and how many future levels your deposits can validate. If you want to participate and deposit again, just create a new account with a new DGD address.

5. Submit the Form:

• Acknowledge Terms: Read the contribution agreements. If you agree, check all the boxes. 
• Review all the information you've entered for accuracy.
• Verify the hCaptcha by checking "I am human".
• Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.

6. Payment:

After submission, you'll receive a payment address corresponding to your chosen USDC or USDT. Follow this example on how to successfully make the payment:

• Previously we chose to validate 227 levels by sending 24.15 USDC while we were submitting the form, so this is the page we will get after clicking "Submit". Click the button to proceed.

• Click "COPY ADDRESS" so you can copy and paste it into the wallet you are making the payment from, this is the address you need to send funds to. in our example here, it's a USDC ERC-20 address.

Alternatively, if you are using a mobile wallet on your phone, it'll mostly give you the option to scan the QR code and it'll paste the address automatically, just verify it after you do that. 

• Next you'll need to copy the amount by clicking the button and paste into your sending wallet, make sure you read and understand the note.

Important: You need to send the exact amount specified, no more or less, even a fraction of a cent will result in failure to credit your account, some numbers in the fraction are only unique to you specifically to make sure that you are sending the payment.

Some exchanges may deduct fees from the amount you pasted, make sure to verify and adjust the amount accordingly until it shows you that the receiver (the DGD system) will receive the precise figure presented to you.

• When sending USDC or USDT to Digital Gold, it is crucial to chose the ERC-20 on the Ethereum network. These stablecoins exist on multiple blockchains, such as Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Tron, and Polygon, but Digital Gold only supports transactions made via the Ethereum network. Sending funds from a different blockchain may result in permanent loss of your USDC/USDT tokens. To ensure your transaction is successful, double-check that you are using a wallet compatible with ERC-20 tokens and that the network selected for the transaction is Ethereum (ERC-20). 

If you are sending the funds from an exchange, usually you'll find a "network" field where it'll give you multiple options on which network/blockchain you want to use, make sure to chose Ethereum (ERC-20). Example on Binance: 

• Double check the address, precise amount, and network (ERC-20), then confirm and send the payment.

• Click on "Confirm Payment" once you wallet/exchange tells you that the transaction was complete

if you click on "Confirm Payment" before the transaction is successful, the system will detect that it wasn't complete and the button will simply appear again.

Important: If you submitted the form, and somehow you can't send the precise amount due to lack of funds, or maybe you want to deposit more, you can simply start over by going to "Signup" https://digitalgold.com/signup, Then refill the form with the same username/password and DGD address, just adjust the "Amount that you will be sending to us:" field to your new preferrable amount. By doing that you'll start a new payment process with the new amount. 

7. Crediting Your Account:

Once your payment is confirmed, your account will be credited accordingly. It'll show you your balance, and how many levels it can validate, along with your DGD address and username.

8. Depositing Again:

If you want to deposit more in the future, simply resubmit the form again with the same username, password and DGD address, if you are already logged in in your account, you'll find a "Deposit more" button on the top side.
